As Thomas More said in A Man For All Seasons: "I am well rebuked"

You, kind sir, are well read.

It is indeed coming along well. I can bend my knee once again, and I'm back to work on a limited basis. I have 6 weeks of therapy and in 3 weeks, I will get an injection in my knee to take care of the swelling/pain, and I should be back to (almost) normal! After that, injections every 4 months, until they stop working. Then total knee replacement, but he's estimating about 4 years away, if all goes well. I'm good with that.

I was a little apprehensive myself, but my guy is so good with a needle, I never felt it. He said it could take up to 2 weeks to work, but there is numbing medicine in it, so my knee started feeling better right away. After 2 days, the pain was gone. I just wish I had done it sooner. I hope you get the relief you need! It really does make a difference. :-)

I got something, I got a broken little toe. It really hurts. :(

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

but on a happy note, you have a personal barometer. I broke a "ring" toe years ago... I can tell when a storms coming.

I thought it was rings on your fingers and bells on your toes.

My knee is my barometer. It's pretty accurate too.

Well that's not good. I've seen good, and that's not what it looks like.

Did you tape the affected toe to the toe next to it for support? Sometimes that helps.

I did but it seems better without taping.

Yeah...results vary. Hopefully this won't last too long and you'll be back doing what it is you do when you're not doing this. :-)

When I'm not doin' this, I'm doin' that. When I feel really adventurous, I do this and that.
