I got hit in the foot by a baseball Monday night. It's pretty colours and all puffy. It doesn't hurt all that much when I'm wearing my work boots or cleats, but as soon as I go barefoot or wear flexible shoes, I sure know it's hurt!

It's been hot for a week now. Not constantly hot, but the temps going up and down and up and down, and when it's up, it's really up. With crazy humidity levels. Makes a person sick.j

Bad day at work today. I get really frustrated when I'm doing my best to do things right and on time, but the person on the other end just leaves it sitting for two hours without even looking at it. And then when I finally go pestering them to take care of it, they get mad at me and blame me for it all, and then we argue, and then the boss gets mad, and I get in trouble but the other person gets off without a word. vmad The whole place would work better if that one person wasn't there, or would do the job right. But they happen to be sitting in a position that's hard to get anyone to apply for, so they're not going anywhere anytime soon.

Is it the weekend yet??????

Oh wait, I'm helping do roofing on Saturday morning.

Is it winter yet?

When I'm not doin' this, I'm doin' that. When I feel really adventurous, I do this and that.

I did that... which was fun.. but wow was I just winging it... should have done this first.. would have saved time and money...

There is ALWAYS that ONE person at work. They exist to annoy us. And, now that the summer solstice is behind us, the days are getting shorter! Winter is on it's way!!!

I kicked a table leg with my little toe. Bad table leg.

So I guess that little piggy won't be running wee wee wee all the way home, any time soon.

You never said. Why did you kick the table leg. Anger issues? Basic hatred of table legs?

Is it winter yet???

Left work at 2:30 today, went to emerge and spent a few hours there. No surprise that I've got heat exhaustion. Been throwing up, or trying my best not to throw up, all day. I don't like leaving work early, but a person is just not useful at that point.

Summer just started. Pool is 93 degrees, perfect for just floating all day. :) Hot hasn't even started down here. Only one 100 degree day so far.

We've got that humidity thing going on up here.

No A/C in the shop, have to wear work clothes and boots, still playing baseball, and been doing other work on the weekends. I've spent days on end totally drenched in sweat and can't cool down. Takes a toll on a person.
