Will said something nice about me, and you asked if he'd been drinking. That's hurtful.
But I was in California for a week... maybe I've become overly sensitive.

Well. HAVE you been drinking? :-)

Have managed to keep applesauce, a granola bar, mixed fruit, and a banana down. Maybe I'm finally getting past that part.

Tomorrow is supposed to be hot and humid again. Hopefully I get a good night's sleep and feel a lot better in the morning, because it's going to be a rough day.

I know I'm on the mend (my gawd I'm talking like my grandparents!) when I crave pizza.

Not ME. He was asking about Will.

I don't drink. Well, not alcohol, anyways.

Well I think that question is now a past-tense "Had you been drinking?"

regardless, I am awaiting a potential modified version of the question which I am comfortable replying to, without lying.

Ok, some good news, and some bad news. Bad news first. I'm going to put some of my gear up for sale. It's pretty heavy, and I haven't used it in a long enough time to know I probably won't use it. The good news is, I'll recover some bank to put towards new gear that I will use (hopefully). The hard decision is to:
1) Figure out what I really want to give up
and
B) Actually box it up and post it.

In the past, I've looked at some of my gear I haven't used, and make the mistake of using it, and falling in love with it all over again, ergo, it doesn't go to the sale box.

This time, no playing around. Pics, Post and Ship.

Jay, if you have a pristine 100-400 II, I think you should sell it for $500.

I DO have one of those that is for sale, but not for $500.00. I don't use it enough to justify keeping it. It's pretty hefty, and hefty things make certain parts of me ache...a lot.
But thanks for the suggestion, Moose!

Jay,

What all are you selling? I'm in a saving mode at the moment. I think I'll probably pick up a 135 f/2 sometime around Christmas or shortly thereafter. I'll probably keep it on my new to me 5Dc as a second camera when I'm out and about. Those two really do seem to create magic together.

Not entirely sure yet. I know the 100-400 II is going. It's too nice a lens and worth too much money to sit in a pelican case. I need to go through my many drawers and bags to figure out what I have, and what I will sell. I'm thinking I also might let the 1DIV go as well. It's an amazing body, but again, the weight and the use it should get, it doesn't.
My idea is to keep my 5D3 as my main body with the 24-70. Probably let the 24-105 go as well. I have way too much gear, and I can't walk the trails to use it all, and I can't carry the bag needed to lug it into the woods. Once I get everything organized, I'll have a better idea of what will be going. I never really used primes, I'm a tele guy, so I never did pick up the 85 or 135. Who knows, with the sale, I might go a different way. A quick look at my gear list is out of control for what I use. I collected lots, sold little. Time to switch that up :-)
