Oh, boy. There's a remake of Ben-Hur. I think I'll not rush out to see it.

Some movies should not be remade. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

LVMoose Moose gets blamed for everything. More info Post edited over 7 years ago by LV Moose. (3 edits in all) | Jul 27, 2016 10:13 | #14872 a couple weeks ago I noticed fertilizer around my neighbor's yard on the sidewalk and driveway. I thought to myself that it's way too hot to be fertilizing. Sure 'nuff; most of his once gorgeous lawn looks like dry hay, and watering it every day, twice a day, ain't gonna bring it back in this heat. Moose

Jill-of-all-Trades far from having everything figured out! More info | Jul 27, 2016 17:34 | #14873 Did he water it when the sun was up? That would have burned it really good. Hot and dry weather definitely is not the time to fertilize. Melody

Like me, he waters early in the morning and again at night (I only add the night watering when it's 105+). It's just the fertilizer that did it, I'm sure. I would prefer to have desert landscaping like we do in the back, but my wife is stuck on having a lawn. If it was up to me, I'd also get rid of the hundreds of golf courses in Southern Nevada. I can't imagine the amount of water being wasted, when Lake Meade... our water source... is drying up. Moose

No deep watering. It doesn't work.Much better to water for only a few minutes but more often. Not sure why, but call me JJ.
