Cool shots, Chet. Very nice processing.

Thanks dawg. Your spider is wicked sweet, scary and sharp as the led on your pencil. Major props!

Taking a break from a shredding party, because the shredder's overheated for the fourth time. We got a box out of the attic which had checks, bank statements, and taxes from as far back as 1977.

Way back when I worked in the parts department of the local John Deere dealership, one of my responsibilities was to do the shredding. They had an industrial shredder that was pretty darn powerful. It was sitting on a frame, with one of those cardboard barrels underneath it. Back then they still used triplicate printer paper that was all attached together and had the tear-offs down the sides. When the accounting people had a box of paper that they deemed to be scrap, they stacked it up around the shredder and I took care of it all. I'd take a full box of paper that was all attached together still, carefully line the box up, and stick the first sheet in. It would just suck the whole thing in, and if I was good at lining it up, it wouldn't tear the sheets apart. That shredder would destroy a magazine without a complaint. It would probably take a finger off without much complaint either.

They had to bring them inside.

Well, assuming you are or were at work, at least you got paid for it.

That was just before I went to work. So I was on my own time, thank you very much.
