I have the Clik Elite and Lowepro. I use the Lowepro and the Clik Elite has been collecting dust for months now.

The Clik Elite works for me.

If only it had a pocket in the front for adapter rings, and another on the back for the filter holder...

That'd also provide a little more protection against flexing.

Just my 2¢

I've tried Lee's zippered filter folder, the LowePro case and the Clik; out of all of them I use the Clik. I really like the Lee zippered case but noticed when you are removing a filter you have to be careful to not let the teeth of the zipper rub against the filter while removing it. I know it would take quite a bit of force to actually scratch it but it just really bothered me and was a personal pet peeve more than anything.

Lowepro has quite nice filter pouch:

http://store.lowepro.com/modular/s-f-filter-pouch-100 (external link)

I have used it for 100*150mm and 100*100mm filters. Lee filter holder fits into it also.

I use this one too. Only prob is that the top is not zippered for inclement weather.

Ok, not sure if the weight is an issue with you because i used some of those pouches but always worry about its stiffness, so i kept searching everyday for a best solution to me, and i found it finally, it is a small hard case, it is hard enough for almost all impacts, so i never worry my filters are inside, i placed all my filters inside, 4x4 and 4x6, ND/GND/CPL

That's a common complaint about the Lowepro, but then I see people with the same complain switch to the ClikElite...which is also not zippered or sealed. Is the Lowepro perfect? No. But no case is thus far, IMO.

How do you store the filters within the Pelican? Are they individually sleeved?

Nothing special, i just put all together inside and 4x6 filters with a wrap holding them steady, but i can buy sponges and cut it to have it as dividers, this hard case coming without any dividers or foam, i can get foam or sponge anywhere and cut it in about 4x4 or 4x6 to keep the filters in layers.

I don't care much about what inside, i care about outside, it is better to have hard case and the filters are safe inside even no foams rather than in pouches that may not handle different impacts or bend with very heavy weights.

If the LowePro's side flaps came down lower to better seal the filter compartment it would be the perfect 4x6 filter pouch. As it stands I'm constantly on the lookout for something better. Having tried the Lee 10-filter zippered pouch, the Clik, and the Adorama I stick with the LowePro for travel and the Lee for storage.

I have the Lowe Pro case, but for reasons already mentioned, I actually only use the insert which I put into a soft pouch (made from speaker fabric) which generally then goes into the ICU of my Loka. The filter insert also fits nicely into the Lowe Pro SF Utility Bag (zipper closure) with room for Lee holder, rings etc.

This is for resin filters. I have a 105mm polariser which I bought a plastic case for:
http://www.speedgraphic.co.uk …filter_case_/14975_p.html (external link)

I would imagine they would also offer good protection for 100mm square glass filters.
