I have a laptop with windows 8 on it. Should I use the media player to burn the movies I created with Adobe Elements or use something else?

The program that came pre-installed was good for only 60 days. Then they wanted like $120.00 for the program. It was not Nero either.

Thanks

Kevin

Yes I am. Can I burn multipule saved projects at one time? I have tried and it will not let me drop and drag a completed video.

I don't use the software, in fact it's been several years since I've done any video stuff, but I imagine that the answer will be pretty basic (assuming the software works well on your system!)

Hello Hulka - it's been a number of years since I've done any video work with Premiere Elements, but I'm not quite sure what you mean by burning multiple projects at one time.

I used to create multiple projects. I would convert old VHS family tapes to AVI files and then I would burn a DVD after some editing. But you could only do one at a time. Start burning the first disk, finish it, and then load another. Is this what you mean, or do you want to have several burners going at one time?

I wanted to be able to burn three different saved project to one disk. One program I tried to use only let me burn one per disk which waste a lot of free space left on disk.

You're wanting to burn a video DVD correct? If so these use MPEG-2 video files. It only allows one "project" because of the rules for DVD video. So to do what you want to do, you must first create a DVD compatible MPEG-2 video file for each project. Then a final project would be putting those video files together, each being a separate Chapter on the DVD.
I don't use Adobe Premiere Elements or Premiere, so I'm not familiar with how it is done with those programs. I've used other programs, and know how they function. Irregardless, the structure for video DVD must be the same. The program will convert the video files to VOB files, and include BUP and ISO files. These are packaged inside a VIDEO_TS folder. The VIDEO_TS folder and possibly an AUDIO_TS folder are what's burned to the DVD.
