What are the chances this is legit? Used C100 on amazon for $4K.

Don't really see how you could go wrong. Amazon will get your money back if its not legit. And if not your credit card company will too.

Are you sure about Amazon handling the refund?

The seller profile page indicates all returns and refunds go through the seller. I have returned items before and alwaysndelt directly woth the seller.

He's now lowered the price to $3,500. It seems too good to be true.

I emailed the seller about the camera and received two responses:

The camera is in very good condition had evryone sent back in to canon to have them fix them nothing is wrong with it. Comes with everything charger, power pack, battery Here is a picture of it.

I didn't see a picture attached so I asked him to re-send the picture.

yes I did attach it I do not know why they are not sending it to you. But I already sold 2 of them and have a few more left.

Here is what amazon says about refunds from 3rd party sellers:

You are limited to a lifetime maximum of fifty claims for purchases from sellers on the Amazon.com website. Withdrawn claims do not count towards this maximum. Customers who pay for purchases from an Amazon seller via the Amazon.com website are eligible to receive up to $2,500 of the purchase price, including shipping charges.
