I think for the most part, I like what Flickr has done with their newer version. But one thing I have yet to figure out is how do you find your 'collections'.

I know when I upload a batch, then organize it putting them into a 'set', the last option I have is to place that 'set' into an existing 'collection'.

Before the upgrade, you could see the various 'collections' you had consisting of the assorted 'sets'.

But now, when just going to your page, you see your photostream with your most recent upload and an option to view all the 'sets', but no option to see your 'collections'.

Am I missing something here?

Thanks

Tony

Click on the three dots at the right end of the task bar, it's in the drop down selection.

Since the Flickr update (I cannot call it an upgrade) my Flickr time has dropped from many hours a week to a quick glance every couple days. The speed and user interface make Flickr almost useless to me now. I have been looking at alternatives but I have history and contacts I want to keep intact since I have been on Flickr since 2007. I wish they would respond to what their members have been asking for... the old version that was easy to navigate and Fast!

The one thing I've noticed is the removal of the BBcode from the sharing menu.

Yes, this is really bad.

You can get it back (for now at least) by clicking the button on the bottom left (Help and Feedback) and opting out of the new photo experience.

My worry is that at some point they will abandon the old system and we will be forced to use the "new photo experience" and won't be able to copy BBCode.

Why can't they just leave it alone?? They've f****d it up enough already!
