i geotagged all my photos during my overseas trip, and would like to display the entire route i took throughout the 2 weeks to my friends/family on facebook.

which would be the best software i could use to display such info in a visually attractive manner?

also, what other fun stuff could i do with all the geotagged info?

thanks! :D

I'd start off checking out Google Maps and/or Google Earth.

Also try www.panoramio.com (external link) and www.flickr.com (external link) also has maps that display geotagged pictures. Neither one will display the map on Facebook, the best I could suggest is a link to your map.

Panoramio is pretty cool -- they check out your "submissions" of "place-specific" photos, and if their team likes a photo, then they put it onto Google Earth, which is cool!

is there any website that would take my albums from facebook and display them nicely on the map? i'm trying to avoid the hassle of re-uploading an entire set of photos to another server again..

offline, desktop software is welcome as well. thanks!

Although it's probably not quite what you want, I'll second Panoramio.
By geo-tagging the images, which is just a case of locating them on the map you can track where you've been.
You can do similar with flickr too.

Offline...try Microsoft photo tools ( http://www.microsoft.com …oad/details.aspx?id=13518 (external link) )

Or Garmin Basecamp ( http://www.garmin.com/en-US/shop/downloads/basecamp (external link) )

Of the two, I prefer the Microsoft product. If Facebook retained your geotag, either one should pick up it. The Microsoft product, just drag & drop and your pix will be on the map.
