I know this has been asked before, and I've done it in LR4, but I can't seem to remember or figure it out in LR5. I want to free up space on my C: drive, by moving my 2012 photos to my external. I want LR5 to know it's been moved, and have all my edits included. For some reason, I thought I could just right click the folder (2012), and there would be an option to move, but there isn't. I know this is simple, but my searches have brought up headaches from others who did it incorrectly.
What's the step-by-step to move my photos to my external without losing the references?
