Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This weeks the theme is 1 Subject 2 Views. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Things will be a bit different this week and next week.. This is a two week challenge.
Find a subject you like and photograph it twice. One week apart. It could be anything. It could be a building site where we get to see the progress. It could be nature and we see some change from one week to the next. It could be an art piece we see from different angles.. Pick something that is easy to get to so it wouldn't be a problem to get there the next week .. .. And we are counting on you to go twice. You can choose to post twice, once each week or post both on the second week .. Though I think it would be more fun to post the first then edit and post the second shot, but that's up to you..
So go have fun!

Here are the rules:

1. Shots need to be taken between Monday posting and the following Monday by Sunset (Whenever that is for you ). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!

2. Post your shots at any time during the week.

3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them), but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here: IMAGE POSTING RULES

That's it! Have fun! . As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

An index to previous weeks can be found here:POTN WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK INDEX

That's it! Have fun!

For this theme I went to one of my favorite plants. Here's my first shot:

Milkweed Pods, Seeds and Bugs -- Week One

Milkweed Pods, Seeds, but No Bugs -- Week Two
As you can see, the lower pod lost most of its seeds & its bugs. (The bugs seem to prefer newly opened pods; they feed on the seeds and pod tissue.) The upper pod opened and started giving its seeds to the wind. It had a few bugs, but they were on the other side, away from the camera.

Joayne -- So glad that you chose this 2-week theme. It was a good learning experience for me. I learned about milkweed bugs and their habits (thanks to Google), got acquainted w/ my new CPL, and learned that the light on different days is always different no matter what.

John -- Your pier looks warm and inviting w/ those lights.

OldCrow -- Your mums are going to grow up to be even prettier.
Are you doing special pp effects?

Hi Barbara,

I just did an auto color adjust and sharpen with InfranView. Sometimes it works and sometimes not.

Boy your guys work fast.
Around here that job would have taken 6 months, they would have had to close the Intersection completely in all directions and it would have had to be re-done with in a month of completion.

They're still working. The part around the manhole is done, but not everything else.

Hey gang...
I'm baaaaaaack!! and ready to rumble!

Everything went great and I'm walking like a human again and pain free... and now bionic!
It will be a while before I can pick up a camera, but I don't even mind :) to be pain free is such a blessing.

So carry on, let's see some more of 1 subject with 2 views... So far very nice ;)

Thanks for all your support and well wishes, I know they did the trick!!
