Nice couple. Good catchlights in the eyes. How long did you spend to photograph them?

About 1.5 hours with a 10-15 minute break in the coffee shop. :D Why do you ask?

Amazing work on your site, btw. Great stuff.

Fantastic work. Especially like the first and third shots, I'm bad about always trying to get both subjects in every shot.

Thanks for the kind words!

For yours, I guess I saw the coffee and thought it might have been a long session.
Some photographers post so many cool photos on their blog that it looks like they spent all afternoon photographing the couple.

Thanks! I used to be like that as well. I know its cliche but the phrase "you have to know the rules before you can break them" often holds true. I used to ALWAYS have complete heads and faces etc in every image. It wasnt until I started being really confident in my work (hopefully its as good as I think it is) that I was able to really open up new ideas.

I know what you mean, and I think some do! I really feel like 1-1.5 hours for an engagement session is the max I can hold people for. Unless were doing some really elaborate shoot, Im pretty much done after that.

I really like these Shane. Great job.

Did you use any modifiers in these?

Hey, thanks a ton!

These are all natural light except the obvious strobed shot. :D Thats a bare light behind and a 50in apollo in front. Probably my least favorite shot though...
