Takumar (Bayonet) 135mm f2.5

I searched and didn't find anything on this lens so I thought I'd post some sample shots. This is an old Pentax mount lens that I found at a thrift store for $20. I bought an adapter and today I took a bunch of shots with it. Focus is obviously completely manual which was challenging but after a while I got used to it. $20 well spent in my opinion. I'd be curious what you all think.

The butterfly and bee shots are cropped. All shot wide open.

So what is a Bayonet mount? Is this like an m42 screw mount?

It is a Pentax lens. I used this adapter: http://www.amazon.com …unt-Adapter/dp/B005JV06QI

Although I wish I had gotten the one with AF confirm.

I've been pleasantly surprised by the results.

I see. i am currently looking at getting an m42 mount 135mm. Can't decide on which one to grab off Ebay.
