Sep 28, 2013 14:42 | #5 I'd borrow it, sometimes you just can't step back far, especially the little side alleys in Venice. I borrowed an ultra wide zoom for Paris this summer, was glad I had it. Might add, I also like the UWA distortions at times, fun to play with. 40D, 5D3, a bunch of lenses and other things

And no need for a tripod, since most places (museums, churches, etc.) forbid them. Make sure you walk down the sidestreets in any european city, they're packed full of beautiful tidbits that even the natives overlook. thanks for sharing bro! by the way, are camera stuff cheap in vienna? Vienna is pretty expensive when it comes to camera equipment, mostly because none of it is produced here and all of it needs to be shipped in. Normally, the prices here are... American prices + 10% then switch dollars to euros (which adds another 30%). So if you shop online for something and it costs 1,000 dollars in America, you'll end up paying about 1,100 Euro here (or 1,400 to 1,500 USD). So, think twice before coming to central europe for cheap prices. 60D | Canon 70-200L 4.0 | Canon 17-40L 4.0 | Canon 60 2.8 | Canon 85 1.8 | Sigma 30 1.4| Tokina Fisheye 10-17 3.5-4.5 | Walimax Pro 500 | Tamron 1.4x | Various other bits |
