A Thread for the Techies ...

Evening all,

A few other forums have threads for the people who make things happen - thinking specifically of the thread for (generally volunteer) marshals in the Motorsports section - and I think most of us would have pretty little to shoot, or little light to shoot it in, without the band and venue technicians who put on the shows every week, so I invite you all to participate in ... a thread for the techies!

Awesome idea for a thread. I always try to get a few of these shots during rehearsals while the "sausage is being made."

Thanks for adding these! I like the first and the last ones, well picked out of the dark ...

A sound designer friend of mine posts "Tech table still lifes" for the shows he works on, showing the myriads of laptops, gear, snacks and stress relievers that populate the temporary tables set up in the house during tech. I absolutely LOVE them! They're are so many hidden treasures in them (especially if you are conversant in sound, lighting, projection, etc.).

Do you have a link to any of these, Al? Feel free to post some here with credit to your friend.
