Just a note here that the neighbour of mine who is developing a golf course, where I got my fox photos, saw, personally, a couple of years ago on one of his fairways an adult eagle swoop down, grab a very young fawn, and attempt to carry it off. The fawn was too heavy and he dropped it, which killed it when it hit the ground - he estimated from a height of 30 feet or so.
