I spent the afternoon at the LA Arboretum and have just posted these at my site (all shot with the 70300IS and 1020EX). I found that these 2 lenses are a GREAT walkaround tandem --- loved 'em :) (Well, except for the darn 300mm portrait orientation issue)

***Mods, I'm not sure if this post belongs here or in some "picture" forum? Sorry if it's not in the right place. Well, here are the pics:

Jojo, fantastic pics as always! The 10-20 is probably going to be my next lens... I just hope that I get a "good" copy if and when. The 24-70 EX DG I got was/is pretty good.

Cheers!

John;)

Based on Joe's recommendation I've just purchased "nik Color Efex Pro 2.0 Complete Edition"

Can't wait to play with it ;)

Jojo: just noticed somthing intresting
With the 70-300 you always shoot at 70mm or 300mm and never in between.

Here's a shot taken today w/ the 70300IS at 300mm (480mm FOV), about 5 feet away, wide open...
