If you're still looking for the remote I'd suggest checking Amazon. I bought one that works great on both my 7D & 5D III, not to mention only costing around $20. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the unit at the moment, but the name of the unit is Pixel Pro or something similar as I recall.

It operates on AAA batteries (I use Eneloops) that work perfectly & last a long while. This unit operates on RF & functions great through walls, etc. It's rated up to 100 yards, though in my use, which has been much less, it's never failed me.

Sorry I couldn't have been more precise with the info, but it shouldn't be hard to locate.

Size matters to me above everything.....I am yet to see a small thing from Canon....see the example I shared from Nikon:-)

Satechi, wireless, works reliably for me out to about 125 to 150 feet. Also has a ton of other features so for the $60 I think it a bargain.
