Wow. Just updated my sig and added the Ls to the lens descriptions. Didn't realize I had so many. I'm so fortunate. I think that's one for every two years I've been shooting.

Wow Air has some fairly inexpensive flights to Iceland

Planning on a family trip next year and Iceland may win out over some other Europe choices

Will be getting rid of 85 1.8. Just haven't had a chance.

WOW Air is like Spirit Airline in the States. You can find really cheap flights, something like around $450 RT, but if you want to check in a suitcase - it is $50 each way, a carry-on - $30 each way, etc. I looked into this because I need to go to Paris, and WOW has $850 RT fare, but when you add all these extra, it will be close to what regular flights would cost.

That is one thing I remember about Spirit airlines. My coworker took it to Las Vegas and he paid a lot less then me but I was on US Airways and he was on Spirit. We his flight took off about an hour before mine but I landed over an hour earlier then his flight. He had a layover in Florida. I had a layover in Philly.

In the end, he paid more for that flight with the check-in luggage and check bag and they charged him for the carry on.

Last time I flew Spirit, we were delayed 2 hours, then 4, then 6 and then cancelled because the plane from Florida decided not to arrive.

I forgot to mention that both Spirit and WOW charge $10-$25 each segment for seat selection, depending on the seat, so here is $40-$100 total extra on a trip to Paris. I am also sure that one needs to pay for food on board...

Interesting to hear, for poops and giggles I had priced it out all the way to checkout and total for family of 4 came out at least $600 less than Orbitz, Expedia, etc to Iceland and and about $400 less to Copenhagen

All may change next year though when we actually fly, this was more for early research
