It's a shame nobody has ever cobbled together a digi back for them, although I imagine the market for them would be even smaller than that of the Leica digi back.

Apr 22, 2015 20:29 | #3218 Any advice on sunrise / sunset spots that are walking distance from Back Bay? My wife and I will be there for 4 nights. At this time we plan to visit Boston Public Garden for sunrises. We won't have a car, but plan to use Uber if needed. We plan to do a trolley tour for 2 of the days which should be a good way to see / get around the city.

I rarely go out to Boston since parking sucks and limited but in Charlestown, you can check out the USS constitution and around that area is Boston Harbor and you can get some there. Long Dwarf is also another nice area to do some of that. Canon (60D Gripped | 18-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS | 40mm f2.8 | 50mm f1.8 | 70-200 F4L IS| 430 EXII)

Thanks for any input. you are better off with the sunsets in the back bay area. a short walk on the esplanade, or to the mass ave bridge, and you can get the nice sunset colours of the city. you can also go to the top of the prudential centre, and take sunset photos - not sure about sunrise, as i do not know what time they open up, but the vantage point is like this: as for sunrises, but wanting to stay in the city centre area, you can go to the martha coakley courthouse, and get the sunrising light on the financial area: and the same area for sunset will give you:

Harm... We talked about this before. It's not the Martha Coakley Courthouse... It's not Joe Moakley Courthouse - named after the late Congressman from S. Boston. If you keep pointing tourists to Martha's courthouse, they're going to have trouble locating it on Google. Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.
