Jan 24, 2014 10:07 | #1202 because you minimise any chances parts encroaching in a shot. UWA > standard connection rings

Nathan Can you repeat the question, please? More info | Jan 24, 2014 10:36 | #1203 Tried any of those 3rd party rings? Someone gave me a generic 82mm ring for the 16-35. That definitely vignetted... but a 3rd party ring = big cost savings on longer focal lengths. I haven't looked to see if they have UWA. Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

Nathan Can you repeat the question, please? More info | Larger? I thought 85ii takes 72mm. I bought some 72mm B+W CPL and ND for that 18-35 Sigma I used to own. Got rid of the Sigma but kept the CPL and ND, thinking that one day I'll buy the 85ii. Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

But I'm betting Sigma will release an Art version soon so I bet I'll just wait it out. Same here. I'm debating if I'll make 2014 the year I buy no lenses. The 85 was sent back twice to Sigma and came back w/in specs ( MA around 10-12). The 50 needed MA 5 isn…even after going back to sigma. After the second return failure…Sigma said to ship the bodies back with the lens's to work it out….I didn't bother…sold them 1DX , 7D,16-35, 24-70 2.8II, 2.8L II, , 70-200 f2.8LII IS, 300 f2.8L IS, 500 f4 IS, 100-400L, Canon 100 2.8 macro, Canon 1.4X, 580ex, AB800X4
