I came across this relatively pristine SP tunnel motor today. The paint was in good shape, the primer hadn't started to bleed through the lettering, the Scarlet on the nost was intact......It almost looked like it had just come out of the paint shop.
The only problem was, they had stenciled 'GECX' on the cab side below the numbers. We eliminated those with a little help from PSCS2.
So, I guess the picture's a phony, but it could very well be one of the few remaining SP engines with a relatively intact paint job on it.
Sad.
