Hey folks,
anyone of you from France? I will be in Normandy Area from 6.10.13 to 12.10.13 and staying in Rouen.

I have my car with me.


Can anyone give me some inside information for photography spots?

I don't live there, but was there on holiday in August.

The d-day beaches are good spots, lots of cliffs and bunkers and sea views. Omaha beach is quite flat, vast expanses of beach sand. The American Military Cemetery close to Omaha beach is beautiful, and very moving. Highly recommended. Arromanches is a good view point of several miles of beaches. There are also interesting bunkers and some old cannons still visible. The town of Honfleur is quite pretty for lunch. The town of Bayeux is also beautiful. Of course, don't forget Mont St Michel!
