Probably does not make cut for this forum - but having taken the SLR and tripod, had to give it a shot to shoot the sky.

Since I didn't a remote firing to extend beyond 30 secs (and also coz I was dead tired every evening and it was brrr cold outside the sleeping bag), this is one of a handful of shots taken after dark...

This is the view of the peak taken from Karanga camp at 13,500 feet. The peak is to the left of the glacier on the right - at 19,340 feet.

While it may not be the most "amazing" photo technically, it is an awesome photo none the less. Just to be there to take the photo is something to be proud of, some of us can only hope to be able to see the sights you have seen, and the fact that you were able to capture the photo under not-so-great conditions, that's dedication to the art. I hope you share more of your photos from that trip.

I like it a lot. Could be a perfect demo photo for those big 4K televisions :)

Thanks all for the appreciation and support.

I am still working on the pics and will post a link to the pictures in the next few days. It was a fantastic trip - just wish I knew how tough it was going to be that could have been ready for it :)
