I was at the park this evening photographing an engagement session when I very stupidly placed my lightstand + umbrella + 430ex near to the water. One gust of wind when I went to change the lens up and into the water it went. It was submerged for about 5 seconds before I scooped it up. I had a laugh with the couple and simply started using my backup flash. In terms of the one that took a bath, I turned it off, took the batteries out and just put it in my bag. I did the same with the yongnuo transmitter that it was attached to.
My question: what should I do to give the flash and / or transmitter the best chance of survival ?
