Nicely done. The only distracting thing to me are the gate bars are not vertical - they lean to the right in one of the photos and then to the left in the other. But, they look great

Good point... And now it really bothers me. Going to fix it now! Thanks for the comments

A few blown highlights here an there but nothing too bad. B+G look happy. What lens/body setup did you use?

You're right. We were doing those portraits during the 2:00 afternoon sun and I was struggling with that. I just used my 50D and 85mm f/1.8.

The main thing I was going to point out was the non-vertical bars. But I also think there are slight color balance issues in a few of the images, particularly the second, in which the groom appears a little cool / magenta.

Overall I think these are decent; and I think you handled the very challenging 2pm light very well.

+1 on the #3 and #4 comments. Well done overall though considering the time of day and harsh lighting.

I agree with the bars issue. I like the first B&W but I would have zoomed in on the hands in the second one. Over all nice job.

Really nice images, considering your setup. If you could get ahold of a flash (or three), that'd give you a lot more latitude on what you could do when the bride is posed in full shade with sun behind her.
