They kill far more people than bears and they do it most during mating season. You are very lucky that moose didn't attack you. I'm not joking here. A bull moose is a very, very dangerous animal. Keep in mind that the largest of them weigh 2500 lbs. and stand 12 feet tall! And during mating season they get super aggressive. You are very lucky to have walked away from that animal.
