That is correct, they are supposed to look pinkish, and it has narrow horizontal stripes! I use Lightroom(v5.7) and there is a plugin called cr2hdr. The DualISO is processed through the plugin and it converts the original DualISO .CR2 image to .DNG, at that point it looks/behaves just like any other image file.
Do keep in mind, you need to shoot in RAW and the exposure is just line any other picture. I am very partial to ETTR. ETTR along with DualISO gives you just about the widest DR possible. The one thing I recomend is that you set "Custom file prefix" to "DUAL(unreliable)" --exact quote from ML. It will label your DualISO images as "DUALxxx", it makes the images easier to sort.

Thanks for all the help. I have installed cr2hdr and windows Barracuda GUI for processing dual ISO .cr2 files in .dng files. I have installed multiple programs (dpp, dxo optics 9, photodirector6 and PSE9) to try processing .cr2 files. dpp and dxo doesn't recognize this dng file. pd6 is opening and converting these files. I found pse9 cd lying in garage. I installed it successfully. But it doesn't support 70d. I am able to install NIK free plugin inside pse9. I can try using it for HDR utility. Is it possible to add cr2hdr LR plug in inside pse9 and try processing it. I am able to open dng file but there is no option to convert it into jpeg.
In between is dcraw file available with cr2hdr, latest one?

Thanks
