A friend of mine created a video challenge called "30 Days in 30 Seconds" and has challenged me to complete it. The idea is you film one second of yourself or your activities per day for 30 days, then compile it into a video at the end.

here's his starter video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjlrxOLlttU (external link)

I'm starting mine today, who else is going to make one?

I was honestly expecting a time lapse, 1 photo per hour, at 24 fps for a month. It's an interesting concept, probably needs to be kept around 30second though, with it so disjointed it would be tough to make something coherent on a year long level.

I've watched a year long one and thought it was really neat. The 30 day is a good challenge that's not over doing it. Very cool

You have some very compelling images in there. I enjoyed it - might have to try it!

I'm currently doing a year long one for 2013. You're right: looking back on the edit so far it's not very coherent but that's partly what makes it interesting! In the end it will probably only be interesting to me as a diary peiece though and I wouldn't expect to many other people to sit thru all 365 seconds of it!

To the OP: Really good work, I enjoyed it. So much of life is about everyday routines that it really focuses the mind to have to try and find something new and different everyday doesn't it?

thank you all, but the video is my friend's, not my own. He's the one that challenged me to make one (and it's not going well :o) after showing me the one you watched.
