These really are spectacular.
Amazing landscape.

When I first looked at that top one I saw it as one can view some aerial photos where depressions rise up and vice versa.
It took me a while to get my eyes to snap out of that despite looking away and back again.
I was seeing that hole through the rocks like an eroded pillar with vegetation on top.

Helicopter ride over Kahurangi National Park, NZ.
My home town (Richmond) is way over at the base of the far away hills.
The hut shown in 2nd photo is about 6 hours to walk in to.
I 'love' helicopters! OK, it wasn't a UH1 but it did the job.

Another couple from above Kahurangi Ntl. Park.
I only had the wee Sony as hadn't bought my first SLR at this time.
We get deer (Red, and Fallow), and wild pigs here.
I do quite like a nice piece of wild pork.

The lake "de Nieuwkoopse plassen" in the Netherlands. There are a few lakes connected with each other. great for sailing. around the lakes are some parks with sheep and moors
