If I remember correctly, that structure is a retreat for some catholic order. Your placement of the foreground rocks saves the composition. Without that it would be a total loss. If it were possible to get the lighthouse off more to one side of center, that would help, but then you wouldn't have the rocks. Bob

As Robert said, it is well composed. You have excellent use of the rule of thirds (bottom third is ocean & rock, middle third is beach and grass, top third is the inn & sky). However, I think strong side lighting would bring this shot to life. Unfortunatly, it really doesn't have any right now. This is a great subject. If you get the chance, shoot it again from other viewpoints at sunset. Alan
