hi, So I was wondering if there is anyone that lives in the Wisconsin area that would like to game plan this fall/winter on how and where to try and find Owls, hawks, eagles ETC.

I have been attempting by myself for a while now and could use a little help on areas and such.

Thank you very much!

I'm not much of a wildlife shooter anymore, but I've gotten some great shots of eagles in the Donges Bay area. There's a growing family of them there.

Can you share where they are? Do you have any sample images? How close can you get?

At the moment, I can't seem to find any of my shots from my last trip out there! I'm not sure how public it is, it's definitely somewhat protected but I think it's owned by a nonprofit.

There is a trailhead at/near the end of Sheridan Drive.

They live along the water. I had a crop-factor camera and a 55-250 with me at the time, and managed to get a few shots of them in the nest, where they were taller than the frame was. Getting close shouldn't be an issue if you're quiet and patient.
