Very nice shots, John. But the first one doesn't look like a yellow-legs with that drooping bill; I'm thinking perhaps a least sandpiper, but I am surely no expert and, in fact, should probably be keeping my thoughts to myself as regards the ID.

Your probably right, I had a look at the Audubon site here

and I think it does look like that. It was very small.
