Had some pretty harsh light today and I'm over 5 years out of practice. Be kind lol.

I see some obvious problems but think they are all easily over come with practice and getting used to the new lens. My biggest "problem" with these is the unnatural looking colors. You said there was harsh light but I see what looks to me like over saturating the images in post while the white balance still needed tweaked. Tom

It looks like you were getting comfortable with things as far as shooting when you got the goalie shots. With a little more work in post I actually think those would be pretty good. I shoot a 7D/Sigma combo too. A tip I can give you for sports with that combo is turn the OS off on the lens any time you go to AI Servo for your AF mode. The 7D Servo and Sigma OS don't play well together. Thanks, still learning the Post process it's all new to me and I have no clue about tweaking the white balance lol. Ken

No real uniforms, men and women of different ages: looks like practice. And as photographers we see practice. Canon Shooter
