There wasn't much moving in the trees around the house today so I decided to sit on the deck and commune with the chickadees. Of course, the red breasted nuthatches were about as well...
It was cool, breezy, and overcast...Boy am I NOT looking forward to winter!

Wow! Those are all excellent Mike, just beautiful. I am with you on Winter, not looking forward at all and you get it far worse than I do!
Top notch set!

These little birds are always so cheerful! Doesn't matter the weather to them. Great set and I'm trying to ignore the fact that the days are getting shorter!

Superb shots, Mike, well done! I've had my fire going all day today

Great shots all around, Mike. And I agree, after the summer, or lack thereof, that we had, I too am bummed out at the advent of winter.

Outstanding set of images Mike and very nice looking subjects. We had a brisk 82 degrees F today. Sorry, I feel for you guys up there, I lived in it for quite a few years. No going back now.

Very nice, Mike. Good fall bg colors. I love the winter birds we get, so I just have to put up with being uncomfortable.
