I was tired of cleaning the sensor/zapping dust spots out of the skies in my architectural photographs. I also chose to upgrade because the 6D is significantly (to me) smaller and lighter, and my 5D Classic was seven years old. We had a great run, but it was time for a change. Dave Jenkins
