My niece Avery

Since my brother just had his 2nd child I figured it was a good time to try some newborn pictures. Even thought I lured him over with the promise of a bbq to bring my niece Avery who just turned 2 weeks old.

So I threw a sheet over the bed and set up a makeshift baby safe area. I probably should done a little research on baby poses before starting but it was still fun.

Any suggestions?

Cute baby. I prefer newborns in they birthday suit and sleep. Clothes just seem to swallow them. Did you use flash or window light?

Not being a baby photographer myself I can't really comment, except to say I like them all, especially #4. I'm sure mommy and daddy love them!

It was a combination of natural light camera left and bounced flash camera right
