Balloon Fiesta 2013

My first time going to the Ballon Fiesta in Albuquerque, NM. I was trying to take picture of the balloon glow in the early morning, and late night. It was more difficult than I thought. The challenge was difficulty focus in the dark, and when the glowed it was only for a few sec, which I had to change my setting real quick so things would not be blown out. Here are a few shots that I fairly happy with. Any comments, suggestions, and feedbacks are welcome and appreciated. They would be very helpful, when I ran into the same situation.

You got pretty good exposure and focus in spite of the setting. My one complaint is the tilt in two of them. It's apparent if you look at the people, who are leaning to the left in one shot, and in the horizon line in the Wells Fargo one, where the tilt is extreme.

Very nice exposures of the balloon glow and interesting photos overall. At these distances you should be able to manually focus, then you can turn your attention to experimenting with your timing and exposures.

Thank you for the comments and suggestions. I was trying to do something different with the crop/tilt to make it looks a bit more unusual and interesting. Perhaps it was not as good as I thought. After taking too long with the editing, my eyes just go bleh. lol
