That's a really nice photo and a very nice job of thinking outside the box on a location that sees so much mundaneness.

As many of the rebels share sensors with the next level models, there should be no reason to not get images of the same quality as the 7D and 70D. It might be better that this just be a more generic APS-C users thread than rebels. Rebels vary more in size, build and feature-set than IQ.

I think the op is trying to show that the rebel name can produce good photos. I agree with his premise too. People are always knocking the rebel because of the badge on the front of the camera and the smaller body. They're great cameras and this is a great idea for a thread.

I don't have my T2i anymore, but it was an excellent camera and I'd buy one again in a heart beat if I needed it. I've shown these pics already in several threads, but they're my two favorites taken with that camera

First shot with the nifty-fifty, second with the cheap'o Sigma 18-50/2.8-5.6

Save your money and get the 70-300 Tamron or a used Sigma 50-150 II. I had it and it was a great outdoor lens, the money can be spent wiser, unless you get it used....

Recently i bought 100D as a crash cam, it turned out that i like rebel setup (100D + 18-55STM) more than 6D+24-105, it's just so easy to carry around, and the IQ is stunning.

and few frames from videos about welding company. Mostly 18-55, but i can't remember if one or two frames were made with 50L or 100L, but i guess that they were not used during that sequence.

I utterly adored my T2i/550D. Was devastated when it and all my lenses were stolen.
