I hope it's okay to post even though I no longer have the T1i and 18-55 which were used for this. It was taken Dec 24, 2010, 2 weeks after I bought my T1i, my first DSLR.

That would be the pistil in the middle with the stamens around it. The yellow parts are the pollen bearing anthers.
