Milky Way - work in progress

I'm learning to shoot the Milky Way. Also, I'm a novice when it comes to photoshop

Good start. Better than I've been able to do.

Nice shot, the MW really "popped" with the CS6 processing although at the expense of the trees going black in the upper left and lower right areas.

What was your processing exactly?
I'm obsessed with the Milky Way and still trying to get a process nailed down that works.
Of course it'd be nice to live in the American southwest or New Zealand with more forgiving
skies but we do with what we've got!

All I did was use curves and messed around at different points within.

Good processing job. I've found that boosting clarity a fair bit (in LR) really brings out the star details.

Very nice. I've been wanting to shoot the Milky Way, just haven't taken out the time to do so!
