I have grown to like photos that come out of almost-rain weather, but they only work with the really cool lenses.
An example with the 85L is here:
My c/y Zeiss 50mm does it, too.
I need to re-do my lenses anyway, so if I wanted to optimize toward it, what do I get? I think the properties I am looking for here are microcontrast and lack of CA. Any suggestions?
Related question: good microcontrast is expressed by the top/thick lines in the MTF chart, right? I sometimes see it the other way round, but I want the low lp/mm which is the thick lines, right?
