These Caracara are very common in Tierra del Fuego. Not particularly nice photos but wonderful birds.

They appear to be darker colored then the few that are left in Fl. Thanks for sharing.

Well Niall , one comment i have is this...i would hate being caught in these claws,look at the size of them.
Now,did you sharpen the photo after resizing it for the web?

They do look a little like they were signed up for the marines.

Hi Dimitri, other than cropping the photos - the first two are about 50% of the original photo while the second only had a little cropped and resizing the images to post here I have done little PP and no sharpening,

The reason i`m asking is because when you resize for web you always loose sharpness,its recomended to add unsharp mask (photoshop) with settings...100-200 / 0.3 / 0
If you do this,then the pictures will look on the screen as sharp as they do on print.
