I'd look for something smaller.

There's plenty of reviews on Amazon.

I know, I just wanted to know if it does bulb release, although I am guessing it does.

forget the bag, can you hold THAT remote?
I have something similar (external link). BULB mode works fine, 1st press opens shutter, 2nd press closes it.

I just tried my Canon remote on my 5D3. It appears the Bulb is controlled within the camera. So any IR remote should work. With BULB selected and the IR trigger activated, the camera takes one hit from the IR remote to open the shutter and the second to close it.

This works on my D7000, including bulb. Used it a few times. Range wasn't that great though, maybe 10 ft max.

The trouble with these is that you have to be in front of the camera for them to work reliably. I gave up and bought a set of Yongnuo YN-603, which double as flash triggers. They're great. Worth the extra $20, in my opinion.

This is a wired remote; but it includes an intervalometer..Here's a link to the one that looks just like the one I bought from this same company... I love it! http://www.meritline.com …d-50d-5dii---p-86792.aspx (external link) Just make sure you buy the one with the right end for your camera.
I used mine last night + camera on tripod to take a picture every 10 seconds of my wife, me and our 4 month old son for Christmas cards... we just kept reposing and the camera kept shooting. Hope it helps.
