African wild dogs chased a leopard up a tree.
You could see the fear in the leopard's eyes.

Hard for one animal to deal with a pack of African Wild dogs. I recall reading somewhere that African Wild Dogs have the highest kill rate of any predator. They are very efficient.

Great photos by the way.

You are probably right re the kill rate because the dogs (they left the leopard about 10 minutes later) gave chase and managed to kill a kudu. (we heard this from the rangers of the neighbouring property.

I am from Australia and went to Sabi Sands in September 2013.

This is my first safari although I am originally from South Africa- left Durban 31 years ago and migrated to Australia.

Was in Sabi Sands (adjacent to Kruger National Park) and spent 4 days.

I was at the Exeter Lodge and was in a game vehicle with 7 people, a ranger and a tracker.
I had a fabulous time and the bug has got me.......I would love to go again.

Gong to Africa on Safari kinda makes most other vacations mundane.
