This was at the medieval fair, as the theme suggests. Possibly 5000 people there. All were allowed to watch and spectate, and as soon as I asked one to clear another popped up.
After the reception they would ride across the field with the entire attendence following (like tradition) and have the king and queen annouce them and have a jousting contest for the next hour. THe couple decided they were hungry and skipped the hour long joust and went to the reception hall, telling some friends of the decision (but not photographer or wedding planner). So, when we tracked them down, the food wasn't there obviously, as we were an hour early, and cold turkey sucks, the chapagne wasnt cold, and the DJ wasnt there.
No time was allocated for the traditional "Get back up on stage and pose for shots".
All shots were shot in aperature priority, with ETTL enabled (rear curtain sync in case of motion). I adjusted the exposure compensation as needed when I noticed histogram falloffs or spikes.
Circ Polarizer was used on outdoor shots to get somewhat of a 12pm sky.
