10 for critique?!? TEN?

Way too many. Repost the two decent ones, and you will have a bit better of a response.

Re: the fellow wearing the headphones. I think you had your hand in front of the lens or something, the left side is blacked out. Also, you need to white balance that shot, the sickly yellow cast looks dreadful. You can white balance in the camera with settings, or using a custom white balance off a gray card. Or, you can correct the color cast in Photoshop (or Elements).

I would like to comment on numbers 6, 7 and 9 only.
#6 looks as if it might have been a film shot which was then scanned. The vignetting in the two top corners looks like normal vignetting that occurs for one reason or another, but I am curious to know if that is really the case or did you put that in as an "effect".
The composition is very nice and the tonality is very good, although some of the small high lights are likely blown out. That's acceptable so long as it's confined to small areas. The person walking out into the surf really makes the picture, and the gulls give us a triangle with the person. Really nice picture with a mellow mood.

#7 has good composition and great lines. There's even an "S" curve in there if you allow your imagination to run in that direction. Good colors and interest. Good exposure and color balance. The composition and lines give great depth. Very nice, peaceful image.

#9 as an abstract has very good composition, good exposure and good color balance. My only problem with this picture is that it is a little low on interest, for me.

Congratulations - I liked those 3.

Lets try this, short & sweet:
1: Can't find anything good to say.
2: A classic shot that you have done well with. Good use of DOF but especially good because you filled the frame. Well done.
3: Border absract- try again.
4: Like the texture, pattern and the diagonal makes it work.
5: Great environmental portrait. Tough light, but gives it atmosphere. Would have been nice to get the eyes open.
6: Best of the bunch- love the composition, and the B&W convert is well done.
7: Obviously, the lines lead us well, but the composition isn't good enough. There's too much sand- it should only fill the bottom 2/3 of the frame- this would give more weight to the subject. My eye is left unsatisfied.
8: Cool cloud- but I guess you have to really enjoy this kind of photography. It's too lose for me- I need some refernce point like the horizon (but that's just me)
9: 2nd best of the bunch. I love the sidelighting. This would be cool in B&W. I like where you've placed the line of the door opening.
10: Sell the house and buy it- the best car in the world (however, you may also have to live in it) Seriously- unique shot. It's just the beginning of the story, I'm left wanting more.
