We were lucky that the weather co-operated long enough for the parade today since it's been practically non-stop rain here for the past month or two now.

I went and looked at your site for the parade. Very nice shots. I think u had a better location for your shots. You were close to the beginning of the parade. They were pretty scattered by the time they got to Gore avenue.

I see you were at the Kendo demo too. I didn't fid them too exciting. No real swords in the action. I was waiting to see the Chinese dancers.

Anyways, you have some really good shots. I enjoyed looking at them.

I'm wondering if anyone found the photos to be overly dark or anything. I had a friend say to me that they were... I'm using my laptop LCD and if I use the "calibrated" profile it actually turns up my brightness so I would jsut end up making my images darker still. lol

Cre@te, yeah, I was probably about 1/2 a block up from the Dr Sun Yat Sen Garden. Spectators there were pretty scattered.. Where I was, the road pretty much became 1 lane as people started moving out more and more into the road to take pictures which would cause others to move forward... Police tried to move people back but it was pretty futile at that point.

Heh, I was going to stick around longer at Tinseltown, but the camera was full and my parking had expired about 30mins earlier. I'm trying to determine if I should get another 1GB CF card or get a media drive that I can dump to... (Maybe both! )

Did you take any pics of the other shows there?

I just used smart fix on Elements 3 for quick fixes. Too lazy to try and do it manually.

They were all taken with my XT and 28-105 lens, ISO 200 , no flash.
