Hey everyone. I want to get this shot printed and given as a gift. I don't do much printing so I was wondering how it looked in general to others. Any other advice and critique is always welcome!

Thanks for looking!

Well I am not sure how to grab the bbcode for the photo with this new flickr layout. It won't let me select bbcode so I am going to just post the flickr link for now.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I edit all my photos on an IPS monitor. I did get a batch of photos done a while back that came out looking great. If you are not using an IPS monitor to look at this photo it will probably look brighter than it is in reality.

How large is the original? From what I can see, the subjects will probably love a print. It succeeds in capturing a happy moment.

I do NOT have my monitor calibrated but it looks a little blue. Otherwise i think its quiet wonderful. Fantastic expressions and exposure.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

Joedlh, the original was a little bit larger. I took away some useless space from all 4 sides.

Pixiepearls, thanks. I think I see a little blue also but its hard for me to be sure. I think I will just go ahead with it and see how it comes out!

It should make an excellent print.

What's the pixel size of the saved original? I ask because this will limit the maximum size because Canon have a 300 pixel per inch maximum while Epson use 360 ppi. I've no idea what a commercial printer uses, but imagine the 300 ppi is near the mark.

Lowner the original was 3744*5616. This version is 2786*4180. How do I determine PPI?

You set ppi yourself prior to printing. Your original version would print at 10.4" x 15.6" on an Epson, while the version you are showing us would be 7.7" x 11.6".

All I'm doing is dividing 360 into the pixel numbers you have given me.
